Upcoming Events

The next performance of the "Requiem for Broken Souls" is currently scheduled for March 2010, in Columbia, Missouri.  Plans also include to perform part of Paul Hindemith's Requiem as part of the same performance.  Plans/brainstorming are also in the works for the 2011/2012 performance of the Requiem in Kansas City, along with or as part of a 3 day weekend event that would conclude with the brand new children's opera written by Barbara E. Garrett.  Stay tuned! 

 "Requiem for Broken Souls" is a symphonic work written in memory of those who have lost their life to any kind of violence and abuse and in honor of those left behind and survivors.

 AAH 's mission is to promote healing and peace through the arts, assisting with the aftermath of violence and abuse in today's world, we present concerts such as the "Requiem" to promote healing and peace.

Past Events

November 1, 2008 - 2nd Kansas City performance of "Requiem for Broken Souls", performed local musicians, Heartland Men's Chorus, Kansas City Women's Chorus, Lucille Windsor, Chad Payton, Andrew Childs and Mark J. Van Order

June 8th, 2008 - Art show featuring Ellen Woodward Henry

November 10 and 12, 2006 - Premiere of "Requiem for Battered Souls"
